The exhibition is made up of works created from scraps of fabric, imbued with memories and stories that invite us to reflect on their origin and their reuse—that is, recycling, rearranging and restructuring.

The exhibition is made up of works created from scraps of fabric, imbued with memories and stories that invite us to reflect on their origin and their reuse—that is, recycling, rearranging and restructuring.
Proposing "scraps of cloth" as creative plastic elements, laden with anecdotes, able to establish a purposeful dialogue that seeks to give them a new dimension and a new narrative.
By joining them together at random, with no preset order or design, I create the ALMOZALAS works, drawing on the meaning taken from Hispanic Arabic, which defines it as: prayer rug.
The exhibition will be open to the public from August 16 to 31, 2014.
