The exhibition reflects the singular gaze of various artists on the capital over the last thirty years. A testimony to both the evolution of the image and urban transformations, this journey, freely inspired by Italo Calvino's book Invisible Cities, explores, in counterpoint, several essential themes. The territory (Parisian and metropolitan), space (urban and intimate), and social life (integrated or marginalized) are traversed, with great freedom, by highly talented photographers and video artists.

Among the works from the collections of the City of Paris, we find photographs and videos by renowned artists such as Chris Marker, Stéphane Couturier, Mohamed Bourouissa, Jane Evelyn Atwood, Martin Parr, William Klein, and Patrick Faigenbaum, displayed here alongside the work of younger emerging photographers such as Mathilde Geldhof.
