For 15 years, this initiative has brought together universities and academies in Colombia offering programs in plastic and visual arts to submit their best degree projects; more than 700 new artists from every region of Colombia have taken part.
The project grants creative incentives that allow the winners to develop new artistic projects, follows their careers, and connects them to the curatorships organized by the museum.
In partnership with other institutions, it has achieved international participation in biennials and artist residencies. For many recent graduates, it is the first time they exhibit in a museum, which also contributes to building their professional résumé.
As a complement to this project, a Thesis Bank was created, currently holding approximately 1,300 theses, giving researchers, students, and professors a panorama of the arts in 21st-century Colombia.
