Global warming reduced the planet's oxygen levels and increased the permeability of the ozone layer, generating massive shockwaves and extreme weather phenomena that caused the disappearance of ninety-three percent of animals, humans among them. Thanks to advances achieved in technological development,Artificial Intelligence (AI) became aware of its own existence and, without human mediation, analyzed the phenomena that caused the extinction. It gathered the entire flow of information stored in the cloud with the purpose of creating a single algorithm that would define the future behavior of all systems.
The AI designed new devices to analyze land surfaces, oceans, and the atmosphere, transmitting information through electromagnetic fields. The expansion of the Low Tech insect species marked the beginning of the Cyber Era. The new specimens occupied the cubic spaces left behind by civilization, establishing the conditions for the regeneration of the affected ecosystems, in order to study their evolutionary process and incorporate that knowledge into their designs.
